Bidirectional modulation of unimodal object recognition by stressful and enriched experiences in mice

چکیده

Animals use cognitive behavior, by integrating information from multiple senses, to cope with the complex and changing environment. However, it is not yet understood how single sensory processes get modified combined multisensory cognition in these environments. To address this question, we exposed mouse positive (tactile experience enrichment (TEE)) negative (chronic restraint stress (CRS)) environments, then studied dependence of their behavior on unimodal or visual) processing was influenced different We found that TEE promoted object recognition depended vision tactile participation alone, whereas CRS impaired channels. These results suggest a environment promotes while behavioral effect environments opposite.
